We all sang and danced along to "The Wheels On The Bus" song.

Our Special Day Out At The Theater

We visited Odeon Theater in Jal El-Deeb to watch "DOUBI DOUBI DOUB". We learned an important lesson: how to save the environment. It was fun, interactive, and educational.

It's always exciting and special when we go out.

A Friend From Abroad Visiting Us

Mr. Andy Keedwell, a regional teacher trainer from the British Council, and Mrs. Mayssa Dawi, a project manager from the British Council in Lebanon, paid a visit to our school and attended our English period. We were doing post reading activities about " The Mixed-Up Chameleon". We did math connection and filled a graph about which animal we would like to be and interpreted it.Mr. Keedwell participated in some activities and asked us questions.

We would like to thank Mr. Keedwell and Mrs. Mayssa Dawi for their visit.

Being Yourself Is Always The Best

We had great fun reading about
"The Mixed-Up Chameleon".
It's about a bored chameleon that wishes it could be more like all the other animals it sees at the zoo and ends up so mixed-up that it finally wishes
" I COULD BE MYSELF".
We worked in groups to cut, paste and create our "Mixed-Up Chameleons".

Think Like A Turtle

Step 1: Turtle got mad.
Step 2: Stop and keep your hands, body, and yelling to yourself.
Step 3: Tuck inside the shell and take 3 deep breaths to calm down.
Step 4: Think of a solution.
Come out of shell when calm.

Our Very Hungry Caterpillars

With your million-jillion feet.
How do you know which foot should go
As you're walking on that leaf?
You make it look so easy,
Right, left, right, the way you do.

Sometimes MY feet get tangled up
.............and I have only TWO.

Fuzzy Feeling Chair

We have a Fuzzy Feeling Chair in our classroom. Each day, a different student sits in this special chair. We take turns saying nice things about him/her. At the end of the activity, the student sitting in the Fuzzy Feeling Chair tells how he/she feels when others were saying nice things about him/her.
